Situated in Courlay in the Deux-Sèvres, Alexis invites you to his peaceful farm with its unusual birds to share in his passion of ostriches. During the visit you can find out about the largest bird in the world. He will go and collect an egg from a nest and let you test how strong it is by standing on it, then he’ll catch an ostrich for you and finally you will end up in the nursery with the chicks.
You can buy ostrich meat and eggs in their shop, as well as local products based on meat and poultry – original gift ideas. The visit is adapted to everyone, there is wheelchair access.
